Meditation Meditating while listening to singing bowls is one form of sound meditation. Many of us have difficulty going within and the bowls both relax and serve as focusing tools. We are living in a time that is getting busier and more full of distractions, making it difficult to settle into a practice focused on the present moment. Liz began meditating over 25 years ago. She has tried many methods. The singing bowls are one of her favorite things to meditate to. Singing Bowls create a relaxed atmosphere, work as a tool to focus on, and are therapeutic (healing) while one meditates.
Medical studies have found that singing bowls elevate the brain waves into Alpha and Theta frequencies. Alpha brain waves induce deep relaxation, a positive mindset, and the ability to problem solve. (You don't problem solve while you meditate, the solutions come after practice.) Theta frequencies bring about healing on all levels, deep learning, and bridge the intuition with conscious thought. Theta brain wave activity is generally only achieved after many years of active meditation practice.
Elizabeth received her certification in Singing Bowl Therapy from the Kathmandu Center of Healing in Nepal. She earned her certification in Crystal Therapy through the Love and Light School of Crystal Therapy. She has also taken crystal classes and workshops from several schools including the Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy. She has studied meditation through various sources including the Advaita Center, Theosophical Society Center for Spiritual Studies, and Sadhana Yoga and Meditation in Nepal.

I have participated in several Virtual Meditation Sessions. Liz creates a warm and wonderful atmosphere in which to experience this profound modality. Each session was deeply meditative and relaxing, and I felt renewed and refreshed as a result. Liz is a talented healer who makes this ancient practice accessible, healing, and fun."
